Last Sunday, September 22, the socialist municipal group was present in the social hall of Archivel, where the first citizen consultation of the pedneous mayor was held.
This consultation has been carried out based on the Regulation of Citizen Participation that the Socialist Government Team proposed to the plenary in 2018 and that was approved by the three political groups that currently form the municipal corporation.
The regulation explicitly details how to carry out said citizen consultation and thanks to the foundations that the PSOE laid in the previous mandate, it has been possible to carry out.

It seems forgotten in all the statements made by the current Government.
Even so, the information that has reached the residents of the 14 rural centers called for the convening of said consultation has been insufficient and the vast majority have not been aware of the conditions of said process in the period of submission of applications, which It was when they had the opportunity to step forward to work for their people.
Press conferences are made and it is crushed with much less transcendental matters and it is curious that the call for this process did not go out to each district to explain it.
The PP-Cs pact is showing itself little by little and with the subject of the pedáneos it was not going to be less.
The two mayors have been the ones who have decided who and how they presented themselves in each district, without leaving all their representatives to present themselves freely and for the neighbors to choose among them.
For that, citizen consultation is done.

Participation in the Consultation conducted at Archivel did not reach 28% of the census.
More than 700 archivists remained without giving their opinion due to lack of information.
It is the first citizen consultation in our municipality and we have to learn a lot from the mistakes made.
From the PSOE, we appreciate the courage of all the people who have presented for each of the districts, but especially the two independent women candidates for Navares and Archivel.
The latter has been the one that has caused the citizen consultation to take place.
Also thank the work done by the Citizen Participation and Census Technicians throughout the process.
