María José Soria, councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, explained yesterday at a press conference about the need to have a day of the Fiestas de Caravaca de la Cruz where people with tea, epilepsy, etc, you feel included, so you will ask for a day where there is no noise in the next plenary on September 30.
The PSOE demands a more inclusive, friendly and non-discriminatory municipality that eliminates invisible barriers attending to the needs of these vulnerable groups.
Very loud and shrill music, as well as the very intense and blinking lights, mean that people with this type of disorder suffer a real torture and having to endure these circumstances can cause a crisis, which makes families in the care of these children not They can enjoy the fair like other citizens.
Consequently, we understand that our City Council must ensure this type of people (minors or adults) and thus achieve that it is a more inclusive, friendly and non-discriminatory municipality that eliminates invisible barriers, so we request that the needs of these vulnerable groups.
Thus, we urge the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz to adopt the following agreements:
1. To urge the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz to establish a few hours on a given day during the next fair and parties under conditions that avoid altering the audiovisual sensory state to which this group can be subjected.
2. To urge the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz that those responsible for the fair and parties meet with associations dedicated to this type of neurological disorders and agree and determine what days and hours this initiative will take place.
3. That it be applied in any of the celebrations carried out both in the urban center of Caravaca de la Cruz, as in its districts.
