Representatives of the Association of Fibromyalgia of Caravaca (Aficar) have moved to the Caravaqueño City Council to hold a meeting with the mayor, José Francisco García, and the Councilor for Social Affairs, Isabel López.
The president and the psychologist of this association, Marta Caballero and Pedro Carrera, have exposed the work that Aficar has been developing since last year with patients and relatives, providing information and providing psychological care, in addition to promoting other specific activities such as workshops.
Currently, they have 70 partners.
The mayor has transmitted the support of the Consistory of Caracas to the important social and health work they perform, helping the neighbors who suffer from fibromyalgia and their environment.
Likewise, it has received the request to facilitate a municipal space, which serves as a meeting point for all those affected and where therapies and workshops can be carried out.
