The Department of Public Services is preparing a report with necessary actions in green areas of the town center and districts to gradually face them

The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz will make a series of investments in the parks and gardens of the municipality in order to improve their current status and ensure better maintenance.

The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García - together with the Councilors of Public Services and Environment, Mónica Sánchez and Ana Belén Martínez - has moved to the garden of 'El Cejo', one of the areas where he is currently Operators are working, to whom he has thanked for his effort and involvement.

The caravaqueño councilor has pointed out that "improving the care of green areas is a priority issue for residents and the City Council, so we would like to move towards a cleaner, more careful and more civic Caravaca. Citizen collaboration is also a key piece. I am sure that the caravaqueños are going to focus on this, both the administration and the citizens themselves. "

For its part, the head of Public Services at the Caravaqueño Consistory, Mónica Sánchez, has reported that "as with the intensive cleaning plan - which is being executed and has already reached its equator -, these works are the necessary starting point to improve daily maintenance, optimizing all available resources. "

The first investments collected by the Department of Public Services are divided into three types of differentiated actions that began to be executed last August and will continue until the end of the year.

Specifically, it will work to improve and modernize irrigation facilities, with the implementation of new programmers and solenoid valves;

in the regeneration of plant spaces, with the planting of new species that reinforce and improve green areas and shade spaces and finally, a third type of beautification action with native and seasonal plants that give color to the garden areas.

"At the beginning of September we announced an intensive road cleaning crash plan, we now report on the actions we are taking to improve the green areas. During the last month the whole environment of the Camino del Huerto has been worked in a special way and now in El Cejo, we know that the needs are many and we will gradually cover all the spaces of both the urban area and the districts ".
