Caravaca de la Cruz joins the educational campaign 'Equality is played from childhood' with activities scheduled for this Friday, October 4, at 5.30 pm, at the Casa da de la Cultura Emilio Sáez.
The activities will consist of storytelling, games and family crafts focused on the theme of equality, within the campaign promoted by the Ministry of Equality of the Government of the Region of Murcia, which, in this case, has the collaboration with the Department of Woman and the Municipal Library of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz.
'Equality is played from childhood' is aimed at both children and adults to encourage the choice of free play, and that minors do not feel obliged to acquire certain roles conditioned by their sex.
Starting from the premise that the game is a plot that occupies a large part of the lives of children, it is intended that children and adults become aware that equality must be worked on in all areas.
To achieve a real egalitarian society, we must educate in values of equality and without stereotypes that condition children.
The recommended ages to participate in this activity, lasting an hour and a half, are boys and girls aged between 3 and 10 years.
