Hundreds of athletes, a day marked for months and a challenge in common.
All this was combined for the third year this Saturday, the day of 90K and Marathon Camino de la Cruz 2019. The Espinardo Campus was witness this time of the exit of 90K, after the forced modification of the itinerary thanks to the damage of the DANA, although the climax was again in the Plaza del Arco of the Holy City.
For their part, the participants in the Marathon Camino de la Cruz once again counted Mula as a place of origin, also a Caravaca destination.
The absolute male triumph in the queen test fell to the Inassa Premium athlete Francisco Mariano Martínez, winning the Master 40 category with a time of 5:43:58.
After him, who was the winner in the inaugural edition, Pedro Agustín Morán, of the CD Runtritón Cartagena, who repeated 2nd place in 2018 and was 1st M35 ending at 5:44:14, being 3rd in goal and 2nd M40 Óscar Latorre, of Rajao´s Runners Sewer.
On the female side, the victory fell to Irma Lorena Duchi, from Los Leones del Trail, 1st Master 35 at 7:09:51, followed by the 1st Master 40 Judith Molina, at 7:22:05, as well as the 1st F60 Marisol Martínez, of The Last Susmurais, at 9:24:42.
Regarding that Marathon Camino de la Cruz, the victory in men was for the athlete of the Mircasport Fabián Campanini, winner in Master 40 (2:51:55), ahead of the 2nd Master 40 Daniel Rodríguez Pineda, of the Mobel Automenor Running Team (3:00:36) and 1st Senior Luis Galián, of Rajao´s Runners Alcantarilla (3:07:24).
In women, the athlete of the CD Runtritón Cartagena Saray Paredes, Senior winner (3:40:05), ahead of the 1st F45 Mª Carmen Sánchez, of Los Leones del Trail (4:04:07) and the 1st Master 50 Aurelia López, from Los Olivos Sports Club (4:22:38).
