The Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) has celebrated today, Monday 7, in Caravaca de la Cruz, its traditional campaign of cost.
The volunteers of the local delegation have taken to the streets, distributed in nine tables distributed by different parts of the town center, in order to raise funds for research and projects promoted by the association.
The Mayor of Caracas, José Francisco García, accompanied by members of the Government team, has participated in the campaign and wanted to thank "the important work of the association in favor of cancer research and prevention."
"No less important is the support they offer to patients and family members who suffer from this disease that touches us all, through services such as psychological and social care provided in our municipality."
The mayor has announced that this afternoon there is a working meeting with the board of the local delegation, headed by Dr. Blas González Pina, to establish new ways of collaboration with the City Council and “provide all the help that is within our reach mainly to the development of its services and the organization of solidarity events â€.
