'Caravaca Trail Experience' renews its commitment to the Spanish Foundation for the fight against Leukemia and the association 'Yes with Cancer'
Fusing again its main hallmarks of passion for sport, respect for nature and support for the Spanish Foundation for the fight against Leukemia (FELL), on October 26 and 27 the race 'Caravaca Trail Experience' (CTE) returns ), whose registration period remains open.
The Councilor for Sports in the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, Pepe Tudela, stressed that the success and charm of this test, which will attract up to a thousand participants to Caravaca, "is the combination of its spectacular routes, together to a clear and transparent commitment to social causes, all based on a great organizational team. "
From the organization, its spokesman, David Martínez, stressed that they are "five years of illusions that would not have been possible without the support and collaboration of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz and the various sponsors, which together with the effort and dedication of all and each of the volunteers have made it possible for a dream to come true. "
The PROMO modality will be aimed at all those people who want to participate in CTE and enjoy a mountain day, thus promoting the practice of hiking.
It will have a distance of 11 kilometers and will allow you to be part of the Official Mountain Racing League PROMO of the Mountaineering Federation of the Region of Murcia (FMRM).
For those who have already started in the mountain world or with experience in hiking, the MEDIUM modality will be their preferred choice, allowing to know beautiful places of Caravaca along its 23 kilometers, and granting a point for the recognized international career of the 'Ultra Trail of Mont Blanc' (UTMB).
MASTER is considered the star modality of CTE, with spectacular narrow, hilly trails and wonderful views from the tops of its imposing mountains.
With a route of 33 kilometers, this modality is part of the FMRM Mountain Racing League, and is one of the tests approved by the Spanish Federation of Mountain and Climbing Sports (FEDME), awarding 2 points for the prestigious UTMB .
Finally, and for bicycle lovers, CTE offers the possibility of enjoying a very special day through its renewed BIKE mode, which this year obtains its own character, becoming the 'Caravaca Bike Experience' test on the 26th of October.
With 37 kilometers of route and a new route more attractive for lovers of two wheels, this modality will be the final of the FasterWear Cup of Bicycles for Mountain (BxM) of the Region of Murcia.
Solidarity and commitment of the 'Caravaca Trail Experience'
But CTE is not just sport, it is an event that creates a campaign of awareness and solidarity collaborating with different social causes, through the recruitment of bone marrow donors through the Spanish Foundation to Fight against Leukemia, to which 3 euros will be donated the registration of each participant through the platform of "Migranodearena.org".
Last year, 2,372 euros were donated to the Spanish Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia and 102 people, both participants and spectators, became spinal donors.
In addition, CTE has become the ambassador of the association 'Yes With Cancer' in the Region of Murcia, a project that aims to demonstrate the benefits of sport in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of any type of cancer.
Through the sale of merchandising of this association in the corridor fair held during the sporting event, CTE donated 839'00 euros.
This year it is also intended to raise awareness among all participants of the effects of climate change and environmental protection, by removing the plastic cups from the supplies, including in the runner's bag a reusable folding cup.
