Some thousand athletes meet this weekend in Caravaca de la Cruz to be part of the fifth edition of 'La Vara Trail Run', which runs through places and mountains of the Murcian Northwest.
The race will include runners and walkers from various Spanish communities and also from foreign countries.
Among the novelties of this year is the # EnKdena2 version, which offers to combine the 75 km Ultra Scorpion test with the 25 km HalfMarathon;
a challenge within the reach of a few, and one of the few national tests that will award 5 ITRA points to participate in the prestigious UTMB.
In addition to the Ultra Scorpion 75K with departure on Saturday, 12, at 04:00 in the morning, the Marathon of 45K will be held, starting at 08:00 and its TrekMarathon version for the toughest hikers. 13, HalfMarathon 23K tests will take place at 9:00, also its Trekking version, and the 16K Promo Wand, aimed at the youngest and those who begin their journey in the world of the trail.
The numbers and chip may be collected today, Friday 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and one hour before the start of each test in the auditorium of the House of Culture 'Emilio Sáez', next to Plaza del Templete
