In order to offer the children and youth population a permanent leisure offer during the weekends, the Caravaca City Council has presented the 'Caravaca Joven' program.
More than ten proposals between workshops, courses and recreational activities, for which the Department of Youth already has open the registration period.
The Department of Youth introduces news based on proposals made by the young people themselves, such as the 'T-shirt Printing' and 'Sushi Making' workshops, and maintains consolidated activities that they like and are demanded in each edition, such as the 'Photography' courses ',' Escalada ',' Informática ',' Teatro 'and' Cocina '.
"We want the Young Center to be a living space all year round and a place available to children and young people where they can continue discovering new hobbies and healthy ways of fun," said the councilor who runs the area, Laura Sánchez Domenech.
The 'Caravaca Joven' program is completed with a training part that favors employment opportunities, consisting of the courses of 'Free time dynamizer', 'Sign language' and 'Design of mantles of the Wine Horses and clothes party girl '.
Every Saturday morning 'La ludoteca' is celebrated, with multiple activities related to the game or crafts, alternated with excursions to natural landscapes and places of interest in Caravaca and neighboring municipalities.
"This is an inclusive space, since it has specialized monitors in the care of children with disabilities. In addition, the Department of Youth scholarship with free enrollment for children from families with socio-economic difficulties," said Laura Sánchez Domenech .
From the Department of Youth remember that the Young Center is a free and open municipal space for all young people, which has various services including leisure, study and rehearsal rooms for musical groups.
On Fridays and Sundays it remains open until 10 pm and on Saturday mornings and afternoons until 11 pm.
