The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García, and the president of the Reina Desserts Group and spokesperson for the employers of the Camino de la Cruz Foundation, Alfonso López, accompanied by the Councilor for Commerce and Hospitality, Ana Belén Martínez, have done delivery of the collection of 'Las Cocinas del Jubileo'.
The recipients of the donation of 5,571 euros have been, at the proposal of the Caravaqueño Consistory, Cáritas and the Animal Protection Association 'Econciencia'.
The mayor stressed that this simple act is the best touch for the 2019 Caravaca Fair, "because thanks to the collaboration of many people we have managed to help two associations that make an important contribution to our society through volunteering."
The balance of the fair is positive, since "it has been a powerful commercial showcase of the automotive and agricultural machinery sector, in a weekend with cultural and gastronomic activities of great influx of public, as evidenced by the fact that the charitable collection of 'La Cocinas de Jubileo' is more than double that achieved in its previous edition when it was celebrated on another date. "
José Francisco García has had words of thanks for all the collaborators at the Caravaca Fair 2019 and in particular for the Camino de la Cruz Foundation, the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia and the Asacar, Asprocomur and creators and artisans associations ArtAndante and Bando of the Wine Horses.
Each of the associations has received half of the proceeds from the stands of the employers Café Salzillo, Desserts and Dulces Reina, Estrella de Levante, Grupo Fuertes and Limcamar.
Coinciding with the 2019 Caravaca Fair, different hospitality establishments participated in this gastronomic meeting on the Paseo de La Corredera.
It was sponsored by the Camino de la Cruz Foundation and organized by Asprocomur, in collaboration with the Caravaca de la Cruz City Council and the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia.
