The mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, José Francisco García, and the Councilor for Social Services, Isabel Sánchez, continue the round of meetings with representatives of groups and associations that have a presence in the municipality and work in the social field with vulnerable groups.
The last of these meetings has taken place with the Association of Deafblind People of the Region of Murcia (Asocide RM), which has about twenty users in the Northwest Region.
The mayor of Caracas has known the work that develops this association, whose general objective is to promote and create all kinds of actions that allow deafblind people their best cultural and human formation and their integration into society.
In this sense, the president, Jesús Valero and the vice president, Manuela García, have transferred to the first mayor the request to have a municipal agency, which serves to teach the communication system and as a meeting point for people with this disability.
José Francisco García has had his hand to "collaborate with them in improving the quality of life of their users, with a space that covers all those affected in the Northwest and that avoids the continuous displacements to Murcia".
