For this, the mayor, José Francisco García, and the president of 'Alvelal', Alfonso Chico de Guzmán, have signed a collaboration agreement, which sets the common objective of developing initiatives that promote agriculture, livestock and livestock. Ecotourism and contribute to the eco-social restoration of the environment.
"It is an agreement with which we intend to support people interested or involved in sustainable development projects in rural areas, facilitating life in it, fixing population and conserving our landscape," said the caravaqueño councilman.
The agreement includes the collaboration of the Department of Environment and Rural Development and the Association 'AlvelAl' through thematic training courses and workshops on ecological agriculture and livestock raising, as well as other aspects related to the social, economic and environmental restoration of the territory , from a sustainable and environmentally friendly point of view. Other actions will be 'agrocafes', reforestation or cleaning of 'trash'.
The first initiative in the framework of this agreement will be the training day on 'Introduction to Regenerative Agriculture', which will be held on November 25, at the Municipal Center for Employment, Training and Equality.

The 'AlVelAl' initiative is named after the three regions in Granada and Almeria, founders of this movement: Altiplano de Granada, Los Vélez and Alto Almanzora.
