The City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Department of Environment and Animal Protection, and the Association 'Argocan Dog School' held on November 30 the First Day of Canine Education and Responsible Keeping of Animals.
The activities will take place from 10 am in the morning at the Fuentes del Marqués;
the theoretical part in the Nature Classroom and the practical part in a bounded area of ​​the place.
"It is a pioneering initiative in Caravaca, with which we want to make it known the rights and duties of pet owners and spend a pleasant day of living among animal lovers, also helping those people who may have any doubt or problem with his dog by leading experts in education and canine communication, "said the councilor who runs the area, Ana Belén Martínez.
The councilor has also advanced that the collection of entries will go to the association of volunteer and animal protection 'Econciencia', "which do a great job in our municipality, promoting veterinary care, the reception and adoption of abandoned animals, by what from the City Council we want to support with different initiatives like this ".
The First Day of Canine Education and Responsible Keeping of Animals will be divided into two parts.
In the first one, the veterinarian Gloria García, agents of the Local Police of Caravaca de la Cruz and the canine educators Antonio Troya, Carlos Serradilla and Pablo Navarro will participate.
At the end of the different talks, a socialization dynamic will be carried out with dogs and owners.
The canine educator Pablo Navarro stressed during the presentation of this day that "the main challenge is to know the dog, its needs, its way of communicating and in the ignorance of these aspects lies the main cause of abandonment".
The registration for the day has a price of 5 euros, which will be destined to 'Econciencia'.
Registration for people who subsequently participate in socialization activities by leading educators and experts in canine communication will be 25 euros, including the charity.
