Caravaca de la Cruz has been the headquarters of the annual assembly of the 'Motorhome Association of the Region of Murcia', which gathered around 300 people throughout the weekend in the city.
The mayor, José Francisco García intervened at the opening of the assembly and stressed "that Caravaca, like many other cities with a tourist vocation, has to take advantage of this tourist niche and be equipped with adequate parking for this booming sector."
The Department of Tourism of the Consistory is already working on its implementation and subsequent promotion among associations that group the thousands of people who choose this way of doing tourism.
"It is a necessary space, which also in recent years has been proposing the 'Motorhome Association of the Region of Murcia, which is guiding us in the project," said José Francisco García.
