The technology fair 'SICARM 2019' arrives in Caravaca de la Cruz, with interactive and free activities for all audiences.
It will be located in Salons Castillo de la Cruz for four days, from tomorrow, Thursday, November 28, until Sunday, December 1, with the aim of bringing new technologies to all citizens who wish.
'SICARM 2019' is an initiative of the Government of the Region of Murcia, through the Integra Foundation, which in this case has the collaboration of the Department of Education and Innovation of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, directed by José Fernández Tudela , who said that "this year visitors can enjoy educational-educational workshops on electronic services, computer security and Internet, virtual reality, augmented reality, educational robotics, audiovisual techniques, holograms and 'smart cities'".
On Thursday and Friday mornings, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., they are dedicated to guided visits to schoolchildren.
On Friday and Saturday afternoon, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday mornings, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., they will be open to the general public.
The objective of SICARM is to contribute to the effective incorporation of the Region of Murcia into the Information Society, making known the new existing ICT technologies and particularly disseminating the available electronic initiatives and services that are provided from the regional institutions.
The event will also have competitions, such as "Smart ideas for smart cities", in which participants will write a wording about what should not be missing in a 'Smart city'.
The most original wording will be rewarded with a smart bracelet.
In addition, visitors who take a tour of all the workshops, sealing their "DSI" (SICARM Identity Document), may participate in a Robotrón raffle and all who fill in the welcome survey may enter the raffle of an assistant Google Home staff.
Güifi brings us closer to the Information Society
In addition, Güifi, the friendly mascot of SICARM, will be in person at the demonstrations and will delight the little ones, who feel true protagonists.
SICARM, Information Society forum in the Region of Murcia, is an action of the General Directorate of Strategy and Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Presidency and Finance that develops through the Integra Foundation, with funding from European FEDER funds.
