The Wine Horses festival has been present for the first time in the Horse Hall of 'IFEMA Madrid Horse Week', the great equestrian event of the year in Spain and one of the references of the equestrian world at international level, where the Cups of the world of Dressage and Jump, among other events related to the world of the horse.
"The characteristics and values ​​maintained by the Wine Horses throughout its history, intimately linked to that of our city and that of our patron, led us almost a decade ago to begin an exciting career towards the declaration of Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO This 2020, we will be the candidacy that represents the Kingdom of Spain before the UNESCO summit and the city of Caravaca waits expectantly and excitedly for this important event ", as highlighted by the Mayor of Caravaca, José Francisco García, in the presentation held within the official programming of the Week of the Horse, accompanied by the president of the organizing committee of the 'IFEMA Madrid Horse Week', Daniel Entrecanales Domecq;
Councilors José Carlos Gómez and José Santiago Villa, and the president of the Wine Horses Band, Francisco Javier Gallego.
In addition to the presentation made at the central stand of 'IFEMA Madrid Horse Week', the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, through its Department of Tourism and in collaboration with the Wine Horses Band, participates until Sunday, 1 December, with its own exhibition space in the Horse Show, located in Hall 14 (stand 16) of the Madrid Fairgrounds.
Although its birth is earlier, the existence of the Wine Horses has been documented for three centuries, bringing together a series of social, cultural, historical, religious and traditional elements that surpass the simple festive event and make it a manifestation Anthropological recognized as unique in the world.
The celebration is integrated into the Fiestas Fiestas in Moors, Christians and Wine Horses honoring the patron saint of the city, the Blessed and Vera Cruz.

The VII edition of 'IFEMA Madrid Horse Week' again makes the capital of Spain a meeting point for fans of this sport, families who love horses and many familiar faces, which meet in the great competitions of the Central Court and around the shows and activities of the Salon del Caballo.
The sports program of this seventh edition hosts for the second time in Spain the Dressage World Cup, III Cup Masters of the Cowgirl and the Jumping World Cup, among other competitions.
The proposal of 'IFEMA Madrid Horse Week' goes beyond pure and hard competition to offer its visitors a complete entertainment offer with the numerous shows at the Horse Show, which this year has an extensive program of exhibitions and activities for all audiences;
