María Victoria Aguilar Abad has taken up her position as general intervener of the City Council of Caravaca de la Cruz, in the presence of the mayor, José Francisco García;
the councilor responsible for the Personnel area, Ana Belén Martínez, and the general secretary, Eva María Perea.
María Victoria Aguilar - licensed in Political Science by the University of Murcia and a native of Archena - is a civil servant with a state-level rating, secretariat-intervention subscale and has been designated for the performance of the position with resolution of the General Directorate of Local Administration, at comply with the requirements set forth in Royal Decree 128/2018, of March 16.
José Francisco García has welcomed the Consistory, while thanking him for his willingness to assume the performance of this responsibility and, ultimately, to work for the general interest of the residents of the municipality of Caravaca de la Cruz.
The mayor has also thanked the services provided by the official José Joaquín Carrasco Nuñez, who has served as an accidental auditor in the last three years.
The Intervention area is the municipal service that is responsible for internal control and control of the economic-financial and budgetary management of the City Council.
