The Northwest Adult Education Center based in Caravaca de la Cruz, where some 500 students from all over the Northwest are studying, has held an open day to show the knowledge acquired in the Basic Vocational Training 'Kitchen and Restoration '.
The mayor, José Francisco García, wanted to congratulate teachers and students because "thanks to the great work that is done every day, both in the classroom and in the facilities of the 'Aprocomur' association, we have perfectly qualified professionals to join the world of the Hospitality industry, a key sector for a municipality with a tourist vocation like ours, with the potential to generate employment ".
The conference has also had the participation of the general director of Educational Evaluation and Professional Training of the Autonomous Community, Sergio López Barrancos, who has highlighted the high employability rate of vocational training cycles, thanks to an updated offer adapted to the productive fabric from each territory of the Region.
The caravaqueños Councilors of Tourism, José Carlos Gómez, and Commerce and Hospitality, Ana Belén Martínez, have also participated in the day, together with the director of the Regional Center of Adults, the president of Asprocomur and entrepreneurs of the Hospitality sector.
