The establishments Restaurante El Arco, Segway Chucherías and Pub La Nota have been winners of the VI edition of 'De Tapas in Caravaca', which was held last November with the participation of 19 hotel and restaurant venues.

The City Council of Caravaca has received the awards ceremony for the winners of this edition, with the assistance of the Councilor for Commerce, Ana Belén Martínez, and the president of the Association of Merchants and Hoteliers of Caravaca (ACHC), María Ángeles Muñoz.

The first prize has consisted of 700 euros courtesy of the ACHC and Children of JM Carrasco to consume in the premises participating in the event or in associated shops.

The second will be, courtesy of Estrella de Levante, a lunch or dinner for two people in the restaurant 'La Cabaña' (2 Michelin Stars) and a romantic night at Hotel Thalasia.

There have also been third prizes, such as those donated by Agua de Cantalar, Las Reñas or Coca-Cola.

The Councilor for Commerce has highlighted the good reception of this gastronomic initiative and thanked the hoteliers for their effort and work, encouraging them to continue working in this line and offering the full support of the City Council.

Ana Balén Martínez has highlighted as a novelty the free nursery service that was launched last year.

'Tapas in Caravaca 2019' has been organized by the Association of Merchants and Hoteliers of Caravaca (ACHC), in collaboration with the Department of Commerce of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and Estrella de Levante.

They also support the Agua de Cantalar, Grupo Reina, Coca Cola, HJM Carrasco and Las Reñas events.

In this gastronomic event last November a total of 19 catering establishments participated: 11 tapas (La Compañía Gastrobar, CJtres.cero (Hamburguesería), Bar Progreso, La Bodega, El Horno / Dhbraseria, Blessed Madness, La Despensa del Pilgrim, Bodegón Isi, D 'Gusta, Kento, El Arco), 4 desserts (El Plaza, Segway Chuchuerías, TodoPan and El kiln) and 4 cocktails (Class, Black and White, La Nota and Artistic Circle 1911)
