0. The Department of Public Safety and Traffic of the City of Caravaca and the General Directorate of Roads culminate this week the work in the urban area of ​​renewal of horizontal signage on streets and crossings.
The work has also been done in Archivel and will now continue in Barranda.
The plan has contemplated the painting in zebra crossings, cebreados and parking spaces and has been executed in two phases;
the first with municipal funding and the second, which affects the crossings, is assumed by the General Directorate of Roads.
The second phase of the project affects the Murcia highway, Maruja Garrido, Corredera, Gregor Sánchez Romero Andenes avenue and the Granada highway, as well as the crossings of the rural population centers.
The councilor responsible for the area of ​​Citizen Security and Traffic, José Santiago Villa, recalled that it is a performance demanded by the City Council to the Ministry of Development, which comes to complete the work that was carried out in September last year.

In this case, because it is the popular neighborhood of Carmen and the area where the Convent of the Carmelite Fathers is located, appointments of San Juan and Santa Teresa de la Cruz have been chosen, selected by the Carmelite community itself, as well as other local authors such as Julián Rivero or Manuel Guerrero Torres.
