Among the proposals of the municipal alternative leisure program 'Caravaca stays at home', the Youth Department of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz calls the 'Photo-Finados' contest.
The initiative is carried out through the social network Instagram and the deadline to participate remains open until April 28.
To make the period of confinement more bearable, the Caravaqueño City Council has programmed during these weeks about fifty online activities for all audiences, including workshops, challenges, storytelling, sports classes or virtual tourist tours, to which this competition is now added. artistic creation.
"The idea is for images taken from home to be shared, whether from everyday moments that are inspiring or perspectives captured from inside or from balconies, windows or terraces," as reported by the Councilor for Youth, Laura Sánchez Domenech, who has encouraged to participation.
To be part of the contest, you only have to publish images identified with the hashtag #FotoFinadosCaravaca and tag the page of the Centro Joven Caravaca (@CentroJovenCaravaca).
The deadline to participate remains open until April 29 and each user can present the number of photographs they deem appropriate.
The rules of the competition establish participation modalities differentiated by age: from 12 to 20 years old and from 21 to 30 years old.
In addition, to open the contest to all caravaqueños users in the aforementioned social res, the Department of Youth has included a senior modality, from 30 years onwards.
The jury, made up of technicians from the Youth Department and photography professionals, will assess the originality of the images and award each category with a camera.
Once the term of the call has ended, the winners will be made public in the IG profile of the Youth Center and, when circumstances allow, a public award ceremony will be held.
