This is one of the initiatives that have been part of the digital alternative programming 'Caravaca en casa', with which more than fifty different proposals have been brought to the homes of Caravaqueños, related to leisure, music, promoting reading, sports or virtual tourism. The mayor, José Francisco García, and the councilor for Youth, Laura Sánchez, have presented the awards in the Plenary Hall of the Consistory, which has gone to Andrea Tudela @Andreatudela_, with the photo 'Little things that make you happy' (category 12 to 20 years), Luisa López @artgutty with 'Woman on balcony with flowers; shared joy '(category 21 to 30 years) and Enrique Gutiérrez @_Lulhita_, with the snapshot' Young man looking through the thoughtful window '(senior category for over 30 years). During the event, the mayor - in addition to congratulating the winners and thanking the contributions of the rest of the participants with photos that are historical for being an unprecedented situation - has advanced that "the different councils are preparing a program for this summer, adapted to the circumstances of security and prevention, but that will be countered by originality and new activities for all audiences, repeating the model that was so successful in participation last Christmas.
" "As we have maintained since this situation began, it is time to reinvent yourself and Caravaca does not stop.
We will have numerous new proposals, both for residents and visitors, in order to enjoy a different summer from which we will surely also get the part positive ", added José Francisco García. The mayor who heads the Youth area recalled that "the idea of ??this photography contest on Instagram has been for people to express their artistic creativity, capturing moments from home, taking advantage of this long period of confinement." Councilwoman Laura Sánchez highlighted that "the jury had a difficult choice and especially appreciated that the winning photographs captured very representative moments of this period of confinement, such as: reading; going out on the balcony to applaud and share moments with neighbors and by last, the longing for freedom through the window.
" The selected images are adapted to the conditions reflected in the regulatory bases of the event and reflect moments with originality, creativity and artistic warmth, and for this reason they were for the jury, made up of youth technicians and photography experts, which were ultimately worthy of the prize in each category, receiving as a prize an Instax camera pack. During these weeks, the Department of Youth has adapted, with live shows on social networks, part of its programming to try to ensure that children and young people enjoy enjoyable and enriching experiences with their usual monitors.
Among the activities held, are origami carvings, scientific experiments, crafts or stories offered by the Municipal Theater School, among other proposals.
