In the municipality, there are about 4,000 Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary students enrolled.To face the start and development of this atypical and unprecedented course -conditioned by the COVID-19 situation- and with the priority objective of combining safety and the academic training of minors, the City Council has combined its resources in a coordinated manner, the management of the schools and the group of teachers, as well as parents, to comply with the guidelines of the preventive plan promoted by the Ministry of Education, the competent body in the matter.Some regional measuresThe general director of Educational Evaluation and Professional Training of the Autonomous Community, Sergio López Barrancos, has been present at the opening of the course, visiting some of the schools and publicly informed of the main measures adopted in the Region, including the hiring of 1,500 extra teachers; the provision of sanitary and hygienic material and an increase of up to five million euros of the item allocated to dining room grants.One of the measures adapted to the situation Archivel is going through as a result of the flexible phase 1 and the start of the course electronically, has been the delivery of 22 digital tablets by the Ministry, based on the needs of the students and in accordance with the criteria transmitted by the directors and tutors.

To do this, we have worked in previous meetings, aware that it is a complex task and not without uncertainty, where safety comes first.Actions promoted by the Caravaca City CouncilFor its part, the departments of Education, Public Safety and Public Services have been informed of the measures that are the responsibility of the City Council in relation to the maintenance of the centers and road safety to properly coordinate entrances and exits and avoid crowds.As for the Access Plan, it is carried out in a staggered manner, through an operation coordinated by the Local Police, in which Civil Protection and a dozen volunteer monitors from the Department of Sports also intervene, based on the indications transferred by the directors themselves of the centers as better connoisseurs of their needs.Another action of the Department of Citizen Security is the creation of the figure of the Guardian Police, as an agent dedicated exclusively to the educational field, which will have a special impact on raising awareness against the coronavirus among children and young people.
The novelty of the 'Safe Passage' project is added, with the creation and surveillance of pedestrian areas near schools to promote sustainability, reduce road traffic and promote healthy life habits in minors.Another noteworthy point is the work on cleaning and disinfection, with additional services to those they had been doing normally, introducing special tasks that will be repeated throughout the day and that affect particularly outdoors, common areas and, at least , three times a day, in the toilets.The reinforcement plan of the Department of Public Services of the Caracas Consistory includes 134 hours of weekly cleaning reinforcement, distributed according to the number of students enrolled in the centers throughout the municipality, assigning municipal cleaning personnel and hiring 7 people from the bag municipal employment.Initiatives already announced are the launch of a Municipal Educational Monitoring Committee of COVID-19, which will now be made up of the directors of the centers and the councilors of Education, Public Services and Citizen Security.
