" For its part, the Councilor for Women and Equality, thanked this line of aid, "which will not leave anyone behind in this delicate situation that we are going through." Sánchez highlighted that the City Council, since the beginning of the pandemic, has established numerous measures to alleviate the economic effects of the health crisis, reinforcing aid that is managed either directly from the City Council or through NGOs and associations such as Cáritas or Cruz Red "The most vulnerable sectors of the population are especially recipients of these aids that the City Council has established," added the mayor. Municipalities collaborate in the granting of aid promoted by the Autonomous Community, through their social services and specialized care centers for women victims of violence (CAVI), and the three NGOs that serve the recipients of the aid: Cáritas , Jesus Abandoned and Columbares. He highlighted the work of non-profit organizations, which are in charge of making a diagnosis of the people requesting help and assessing, together with the municipal social services, the situation of each one to finally grant the aid, based on the corresponding justification, and the time period. The aid, which is part of the Housing Plan, may amount to 550 euros per month per family.
On the one hand, the rental of the home will be taken care of, with 350 euros per month and, on the other, the expenses of basic supplies, maintenance and community will be covered with up to 200 euros per month.
