The session began with a point of urgency whereby the call for plenary sessions is brought forward one hour, at 7:00 p.m., to end earlier and comply with the movement limitation imposed by the new State of Alarm decree.The Plenary of the Municipal Corporation gave its support to the two proposals raised by the Government team -the first of them at the initiative of the Cofradía de la Vera Cruz- to initiate the file for the granting of the title of Favorite Son of the City to Alfonso López Rueda, president of Grupo Postres Reina, and the definitive approval of the title of Adoptive Child for Dr.
Antonio López Bermejo, president of the Spanish Foundation for the Fight against Leukemia.
The spokespersons highlighted the strong social commitment, as well as the personal and professional worth of the honorees, to whom they conveyed their congratulations for being the highest recognitions granted by the municipal institution.The session began with the support of all political groups with municipal representation for the motion presented by the Municipal Group of the Popular Party to ask the central Government, through its Delegation in the Region of Murcia, the definitive return of the Civil Guard to their usual services, since since this summer almost all the patrols of the Northwest have been displaced to the custody of immigrants in quarantine in the old Hotel of 'El Cenajo' in Moratalla.
During the debate, it was stated that the presence of the special forces has been punctual and this is having a negative impact on the essential services of citizen security and also on the employment of the agents themselves.
"Both the Local Police and the Civil Guard make an unaffordable effort and that is why it is a decision that we neither tolerate nor want to be perpetuated over time, "said the mayor, José Francisco García.The Regulation of Control and Presence of the Public Employees of the City Council was another of the points that came out the last plenary session, with the favorable vote of the Popular Party and Citizens groups and the unfavorable vote of the Socialist Party.
This point raised by the Department of Human Resources aims to ensure adequate compliance with labor obligations, which results in a proper functioning of the services provided to Caravaqueños.

Caravaca de la Cruz received for the first time the aid for urban regeneration and renewal, with a total amount of 1,560,000 euros.Other points approved was the approval of the modification and transfer of credit to different areas and different requests that were delayed from the previous session were put on the table.
