And as specific objectives to promote and coordinate training actions, encourage the diversification of the activity, encourage the incorporation of young people and women, enhancement of pastoralism and the figure of the shepherd, differentiation of quality products, obtaining technical-economic social and environmental data from livestock farms, transfer and dissemination of results.

The facilities of the School of Shepherds have been equipped since 2015 and were carried out with a financing of 160,000 euros from the agricultural funds of rural development EAFRD.
The building has an administrative part, which is also the headquarters of the association that groups together the Segureño sheep breeders in the Region, where the different aids are managed, and with a training room.
