The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Domingo Aranda, today opened the first football field 7 of the town, located next to the Sports Complex, El Salvador, from which residents can enjoy the municipality.
The investment in this project amounts to 234,850 euros, provided by the Autonomous Community over the assets of the Fund for Cooperation, designed to improve municipal infrastructure.
The new field, with dimensions of 55x33 meters, is equipped with the latest technology in artificial turf and irrigation, among which a rubber elastic layer under the pavement of lawn that enhances the elasticity of it and avoids most of the overloads muscle, mimicking the natural grass.
The field is equipped with lighting and a perimeter fence to prevent the escape of balls.
This infrastructure is the first of its kind to be built in the town and joined the football field and running track and six blocks and 400 meters are there in the sports complex El Salvador.
The resort also features new costumes that can give adequate service to the athletics track and football fields.
Another action that is taking place in this complex is the improved street lighting, funded by the Directorate General of Sports.
