The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Caravaca, Domingo Aranda, today opened the first football pitch 7 of the town, located next to the Sports Complex, El Salvador, and that fans can now enjoy the municipality.
The investment in this project is 234,850 euros, provided by the Autonomous Community through funds from the Cooperation Fund earmarked for municipal infrastructure improvements the Directorate General of Local Government, Institutional and External Relations.
The new track, with dimensions of 55x33 meters, is equipped with the latest technology in artificial turf and irrigation, among which a rubber elastic layer under the pavement of lawn that enhances the elasticity of it and avoids most of the overloads muscle, mimicking the natural grass.
The field is equipped with lighting and a perimeter fence to prevent the escape of balls.
This infrastructure is the first of its kind to be built in the town and joined the football field 11 and the running track 6 lanes and 400 meters are there in the sports complex El Salvador.
The sports complex also features new costumes that can give adequate service to the athletics track and football fields.
Another performance improvement to be done in this complex is the extension of public lighting, action financed by the Directorate General of Sports.
