The Popular Party spokesman in the city of Caravaca has said that the government team PSOE has suffered from a lack of consensus and dialogue in drawing up and agreeing on the municipal budget for this year and "has passed the roller" by all amendments to this budget both the PP and Citizens, "approving only the two conducted by IU, demonstrating the existence of a covert agreement between the two formations".

Jose Francisco Garcia has offered this morning a press conference to assess the plenary on Monday which was debated and voted this budget.

The spokesman said that "we would have liked to vote in favor of a budget in which most of its 670 items are exactly the same as in 2015 and in which there are only 35 new items", but has clarified that "agree budgets is not to explain them by the municipal auditor point by point in the meetings held, information on the other hand we appreciate, but sit with opposition groups, listen to their proposals and enter into negotiations ".

Garcia explained that it is difficult to agree on a budget "if not even the amendments tabled by the opposition groups have gone through informative commission to see if duplicated or took money from the same headings".
