The City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the employment service of the Youth Council, has taught a course training branch of hospitality, aimed at twelve young unemployed, now they begin a period of professional practice various bars and restaurants in the town.
The course 'Basic Operations restaurant and bar' has been funded by the Regional Employment Service and Training (SEF) and has developed over 290 hours, which have combined theoretical sessions at the Youth Center and classes Lounges kitchen Castillo de la Cruz.
Upon completion of professional practices in restaurants and bars collaborators, students receive the Certificate of Competence Level 1.
"We value very positively the development of this course, as it contributes, on the one hand, to professionalize the hospitality sector in Caravaca and, secondly, promotes labor market integration of young people currently in state unemployment" , as stated by the councilman of Youth and Education, Esther Poveda, who also wanted to thank the collaboration of restaurateurs who welcome in their local trainees, "as this will lead to a real environment everything learned during these months".
Poveda was accompanied at the closing ceremony by the mayor of Tourism and Commerce, Gloria Gómez;
the technical manager of Local Youth Employment Centre, Mari Robles, and the president of the Association of merchants and restaurateurs, Maria Angeles Muñoz.
