The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz held tomorrow, Tuesday 15, the 'World Day of Consumer Rights', with two briefings on the 'Contracts concluded away from business premises', which will take place Barranda and Archivel.
"With this activity we want to approach the resident population in districts the services provided by the Municipal Office of Consumer (OMIC) and report the free mechanisms that citizens have at their disposal to possible situations of abuse or fraud," as reported Councilwoman Gloria Gómez Trade and Consumer Affairs.
The talks will take place at 16.00 pm in the Social Center Barranda, and 18.00 pm in the Senior Center of Archivel.
They will be issued by the technical manager of the Municipal Office of Consumer Information, Maria Dolores Sanchez Marin, who will speak of contracts away from business premises, as one of the issues that focus the largest number of complaints and complaints in the OMIC.
The 'World Day of Consumer Rights' is an annual occasion for celebration for the consumer movement worldwide.
It is a day to promote the fundamental rights of all consumers to demand that their rights are respected and protected, and to protest against market abuses and social injustices which undermine them.
The 'World Day of Consumer Rights' was held for the first time on March 15, 1983, and has since been an important occasion for mobilizing citizens for their rights.
