The former Jesuit hosts until Tuesday, March 22, the X Exhibition of Easter Caravaca de la Cruz, composed of thrones, holders pictures and banners of the different brotherhoods.
The exhibition will be open from 10.00 to 14.00 and from 18.00 to 21.00, until next Monday.
Tuesday and Wednesday will also be open from 10.00 to 13.30 and afternoons, from 19.00.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations in the city of Caravaca de la Cruz, Oscar Martinez;
the head of the Association of Guilds of Holy Week, Mariano García-Esteller;
and the vicar of Jesus Aguilar area, who performed the blessing of space, embraced by the older brothers of the caravaqueñas brotherhoods.
Councilman Celebrations and Culture thanked the effort and involvement that a year have shown the components of the brotherhoods and wanted to encourage "all caravaqueños to visit the Society of Jesus, and observe in detail the valuable cofrade heritage, and then to witness in the streets all processions ".
The heritage of Holy Week Caravaca de Cruz has sizes with a long historical tradition and artistic value, such as 'La Dolorosa' and 'The Capture', attributed to the school of Francisco Salzillo, or Our Lady of Sorrows, work caravaqueño artist Marcos Laborda.
