The duo 'Hispania: verse and wood', composed by actress and theater director Maria Aznar Reyes and Chilean guitarist Ramón Vergara, offers a poetic-musical recital compositions focused on Spanish Golden Age.
The concert, organized with the collaboration of the Department of Culture, will take place at the Church of the Carmelite Fathers next Saturday, March 19, at 20.30.
"It is a poetic-musical recital that combines great works of Baroque guitar with poems by writers of the Golden Age as well as songs of Latin American folklore, leading to a show that interweaves the New and Old World through music and poetry "has advanced caravaqueña Reyes Maria Aznar.
'Hispania: verse and wood' was created in 2012 with the premiere of the poetic-musical recital of the same name and, a year later, presented his second work, "The Golden Age".
The duo has performed in major concert halls and festivals in Latin America and Europe, counting with the sponsorship of the Government of Chile.
Ramón Vergara Silva has a degree in Arts, majoring in Classical Guitar from the University of Chile.
Vergara has been awarded in several international guitar competitions and has starred in successful solo tours.
Maria de los Reyes Martinez Aznar is titled Dramatic Arts, specializing in Textual Interpretation by the School of Dramatic Arts in Murcia, being a disciple of maestro Vicente shot.
In 2012 he founded and directed the Company 'Finalis Theater Terra', in Santiago de Chile.
At present, the company prepares its second work, 'Beauty', which is part along with 'Judgment' of the 'Tetralogy of fear'.
