The 'Way of the Cross of Caravaca' Foundation has been established with its first meeting, held at the Palacio de San Esteban, with the participation of entrepreneurs who have initially become part of it.
This first call has benefited from the presence of the President of the Autonomous Community, Pedro Antonio Sanchez, who occupy honorary presidency, and the older sister of the Brotherhood of Vera Cruz, Elisa Giménez Giron, who will hold the vice presidency.
Caravaqueño Consistory has been represented by the Councillor for Tourism, Gloria Gomez, who explained that "the foundation's mission is to work in coordination with the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the other administrations in the promotion and enhancement of the Jubilee Year 2017 ".
The Tourism Minister also recalled that these companies will reap the tax benefits included in the State Budget until June 30, 2018, to carry out actions to support sponsorship event of the Holy Year 2017. Gloria Gomez has shown his thank you "to all the companies involved and that sure they will in the coming months for its firm commitment to Caravaca de la Cruz and its immense tourism potential".
Apart from this foundation, tax incentives are open to any company that supports the jubilee.
The 'Way of the Cross' is a private foundation, with majority capital of Murcia companies.
Companies that currently compose it are Cafes Salzillo, Desserts and Sweets Reina, Limcamar, Hefame, El Pozo, Estrella de Levante and University Foundation San Antonio (UCAM).
