Secondary school students Oróspeda of Archivel have participated in workshops affective sexual education, organized by the Department of Youth and Education of the City of Caravaca, in collaboration with the Department of Orientation of the center.
Each workshop was composed of three sessions, in which there has been a sexuality that goes beyond the biological and physical aspects and takes into account psychological and emotional components.
Psychologist and sexologist Charo Espin has been responsible for providing content and silver resolve doubts regarding adolescent sexual education is concerned.
From the Department of Youth and Education emphasize that these workshops several objectives, among which deepen the concept sexuality and address the myths surrounding this concept pursued;
disease prevention and avoid homophobic behavior, creating for it an environment of trust and respect, in which teenagers think and ask positively.
Workshops assist in a comprehensive education that transcends risk prevention, as it facilitates the acquisition of maturity and responsibility, as adults, let them live as autonomous and free people.
After the pilot experience at the IES Oróspeda, this educational tool the next academic year will be available to secondary schools who want to influence the sexual affective education of its students in adolescent stage, population group target to address this content.
