The school 'Santa Cruz' and parents' association have launched a school organic garden, where students have the opportunity to plant and follow the entire process of production of fruits and vegetables.
Councilwoman Maria Jose Soria today visited the project, with which, in his words, 'to children are educated on sustainable patterns of production, distribution and consumption of food. "
The mayor also informed that the installation is integrated into the Network of School Gardens in the Region of Murcia, an educational resource for Environmental Education, Health Education and Education for Development.
From the school management and AMPA they have highlighted the enthusiasm with which it has implemented this initiative, helping students understand the importance of sustainable development healthy eating and while they were approaching a traditional activity the municipality, as is agriculture.
