Activities organized by the Culture Department of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the Municipal Public Library, on the occasion of the Book Fair, will resume this Thursday, May 26, with the presentation of the book 'magical Dietario' by Manuel Moyano, published by 'The ugly bourgeoisie'.
The event will take place in the sacristy of the Society of Jesus, with the participation of the author, accompanied by Francisco Marín editor and Professor of Geography and History Jesus Lopez.
The publication of 'magic Dietario' is the result of fieldwork conducted by Moyano during May and June 2001, when he toured the region of Murcia armed with a notebook, a pen and a camera and interviewed a dozen healers.
His goal was not to make a journalistic reportage, but to create a literary work, which has managed to dazzle the reader by its evocative power and its strong narrative pulse.
On Friday, May 27, at 20.30, in the Society of Jesus, the book presentation of Josune Intxauspe 'A place of passage', published by 'Red Circle' will be held.
The writer in this literary work explores human relationships through its protagonists: Enrique ORENES, famous writer in crisis who travels to his hometown;
his wife, Jana, who narrates his life in a journal, and his father, Diego Quiroga.
Caravaqueño Manuel Montiel Guirado sign copies of his novel 'The butterflies destination', from 19:00 next Saturday, May 28, at the Book Fair, located in the San Juan de la Cruz square.
The activities planned by the Municipal Library will be continued next week with several presentations and meetings with the author.
Tuesday, May 31, at 20.30, the sacristy of the Society of Jesus will host the presentation of the book 'De la ceiba and Quetzal, Central tales', written by Montse ABUMALHAM and edited by Gollarín.
On June 1, at 20.30, will be a meeting with the author, starring Luis Leante caravaqueño winning national awards and Edebé Alfaguara Youth Literature, among other awards.
Previously, from 19.00 Leante sign copies of his novels in the Book Fair.
Activities under the Book Fair will be closed on June 2, with the presentation of the book of Peter J. Garrido, "Naive and manipulable ?, How cruel temptation '. It will start at 20.30 in the House of culture Emilio Sáez.
