The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has commemorated the 'World Environment Day' with several sensitization and awareness initiatives aimed at both adults and for children.
In the morning, coinciding with the weekly market was held a new edition of the campaign "You separate them, Caravaca recycled '," with which, through information and games, the City Council and Ecoembes encourage the selective separation household waste and try to reduce the amount of 'improper' deposited in the wrong way in the recycling bins ", as reported by the Councillor for the Environment, Enrique Fuentes.
Paseo de La Corredera yesterday hosted a series of recreational and educational workshops, organized by the departments of Services and Environment, the concessionaire of street cleaning, urban actions, and the Abraham Project Association.
The collective 'downwind' carried out various activities such as air origami, the game 'Get wet with recycling' or ecological launching rockets.
Among those attending, children's backpacks, colored pencils, indigenous aromatic plants and organic household cleaning products were delivered.
