The closure of the 'Cow Pop' borne by the iconic pop-rock group national 'Celtic Woman'
The 'Cow Pop' Festival opens this Friday, June 10, with a concert that, in its 'Ocean Tour' tour, and Luismi Medina offered in the cloister of the Castillo de Caravaca de la Cruz, from 22.00 hours, with free admission until full capacity.
The 'Cow Pop', which will be live music from eight bands to different urban spaces, will take place over two weekends: 10 and 11 July and 17 and 18 June.
The poster for this edition was presented by the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, who said that this event "meets the two characteristics with which it was born and must endure over time, such as holding concerts emblematic of our city which are not the usual for this type of events- and free character of the same, making it more accessible and culture closer to the people. "
The Mayor was joined at the presentation by the Councillor for Culture and Celebrations, Oscar Martinez, and the coordinators of the festival, Bryn Slack, Matthew Marti, Austin Slack and Antonio Fructuoso.
Following the opening of 'Cow Pop', the second day of concerts will take place this Saturday, June 11, with 'Umbria' and 'Clara Plath' two murcianas female bands, who will perform his compositions in the Plaza José Carrilero, from 22.00.
The second and final weekend of this year's 'Cow Pop' will be held in the Plaza del Arco.
On Friday, 17, act 'Costas' group which is part of Miguel Costas, founding member and vocalist and guitarist Sinister with 'fans', as guest artist.
The closing of the festival, to be held on Saturday 18, will be borne by one of the most emblematic and representative formations pop-rock national and Celtic music, such as 'Celtic Woman', which will take the stage preceded by ilicitano quintet 'Therotados'.
Friday's performance will begin at 22.00 and Saturday at 22.00 hours.
