The City of Caravaca de la Cruz has completed the program of sports activities for adults municipal course 2015/16, which involved a total of 410 people from the town and villages.

In the closing ceremony, the mayor, Jose Moreno, presented the award to perseverance, dedication and participation Prudencia Martinez, a resident of Caneja.

The Sports Council teaches gymnastics, Pilates and Gerontogimnasia order to combat sedentary lifestyles and promote healthy lifestyles.

The program of sports activities for adults takes place in the municipal wards the village, in the Home for the Elderly and in the districts of La Almudema, Navares, Benablon, Caneja, the Incarnation, Pinillla, Los Royos, Singla, Archivel Barranda and El Moralejo.
