A collaboration agreement between the City of Caravaca de la Cruz and the Autonomous Community will allow construction of a stopping bus on Avenida Los Andenes de Gregorio Sanchez Romero.
The mayor, Jose Moreno, and the general director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez, held a meeting in which they outlined the points of agreement to undertake this action.
The aim of the work, which will be completed for the start of the Jubilee Year 2017, is the provision of a parking of tourist buses in the RM-715, which connects Caravaca de la Cruz Moratalla.
The project is valued at 108,349 euros and has an execution period of three months.
Currently, this area of ​​town has a roadway with two lanes and two bands of parking and pedestrian steely two separate variable width.
The project expands the existing parking strip in front of the terrenosanteriormente occupied by the conservation service of the Directorate General of Highways, assigned to the City of Caravaca for adaptation and use as a public garden.
The purpose therefore is the rise and fall of tourists in a, near the Bandstand and the Old Town central space.
During the meeting, which was also attended by the mayors of Planning and Traffic, Enrique Fuentes and Pedro Antonio Muñoz, respectively, they have been put on the table other issues such as the widening of access to the city and other issues relating to the conservation regional network of roads that run through the municipality.
