The Director of Roads, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó, today held a meeting with the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno, to discuss the project of construction of a stopping bus at the crossing of the RM-715 highway, which links Caravaca de la Cruz Moratalla.
At the meeting the draft redevelopment of the avenue of the town Andenes treated with roadworks and sidewalks to promote the need to build three platforms for bus stops and parking space for vehicles.
The Highways Agency has proposed to the City of Caravaca de la Cruz an agreement to co-finance such works, so that each administration contribution the cost of the work within its competence.
Thus, the caravaqueño consistory will take care of the works of urban services such as street lighting, low voltage underground network, water supply, sewerage and telephone services, representing 40 percent of the entire project;
and the Ministry of Public Works and Infrastructure finance the demolition and earthworks, retaining walls and fences, paving and signage, representing the remaining 60 percent.
The budget execution of the works amounts to 108,350 euros.
This agreement includes the transfer to the City of crossing the road RM-715, since its inception in the PA to exit the urban center of the population, with a length of approximately one kilometer.
José Antonio Fernández Lladó said that "the objective is that the works are executed before the end of the year."
