Within the program of leisure activities and non-formal education planned for this summer, the Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz offer the official course 'Monitor and Leisure', which will be taught in intensive mode, with a duration of 160 hours theoretical and 90 practices.
The objective of this training, which will take place on the premises of young companies in the sector Center is the training of students for the realization of cultural and recreational initiatives of particular interest to children and young people, both in urban and in natural.
The course will consist of educational psychology, sociocultural and techniques and resources for leisure modules.
This course is organized by the Youth Council in collaboration with the Regional School of Leisure Time of the Autonomous Community, competent body to certify and issue the securities.
In this regard, the mayor of Education and Youth, Esther Poveda, wanted to point out, "that the course is part for the third year of municipal programming, despite the economic aid included in the program 'I am Monitor' which demean the registration fee, the City has been denied by the Department of Youth. "
The registration period is open until June 24 and the price of tuition is 240 euros, although it may be cheaper depending on the number of students demanding the course.
