The Youth Council of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz opens the registration period in the activities of 'Summer Youth 2016', according to a schedule that said the mayor responsible for the area, Esther Poveda "aims to facilitate the work-life balance family and work during the holidays and bring children and young alternatives and healthy forms of recreation, responding as far as possible to their tastes and demands. "
The 'Summer Youth 2016' consists of three different blocks of activities: schools and summer camp, the specific workshops and training courses.
In all, twelve proposals that will develop in the Youth Center and other facilities in the town and villages during the summer months.
The Youth Council offers two summer schools;
one that will be held at the Sports Center Caravaca and another in the districts of Archivel and the Incarnation.
'The school of the village has a component of inclusion, as it will be adapted for the participation of children with disabilities, and component integration, since attending children benefiting from the City of families with socio-economic difficulties, which also have access, like last year, the canteen service ".
One of the main novelties of the program 'Summer Youth 2016' is the Northwest Murciano Camp, organized jointly by the consistory of Caravaca, Cehegín, Bullas and Moratalla.
The first edition of this camp will take place in the hostel 'The Cenajo', from 4 to 9 June, with numerous water sports, adventure and sports in nature.
In the paragraph workshops, Youth proposes various themes to discover other forms of entertainment, such as Prehistory, Archaeology, Photography, Kitchen and Parkour.
"In the training section, new features are also introduced with very interesting titles for young people who decide to take advantage of the summer months to enrich their education ', as has advanced Esther Poveda.
For the third year the official course 'Monitor and Leisure', which will be taught in intensive mode, with a duration of 160 hours theoretical and 90 practices offering.
On the other hand, it will be held in collaboration with the Apcom association, the first course 'Field experience: We heard your eyes', to be held from 18 to 23 June at the residence of large dependent 'Snowflake' and it will be aimed at young people over 18 interested in disability, volunteer associations or Special Education students, psychology, education, et cetera.
Finally, the 'Club of Languages', funded by the Directorate General of Youth, for the preparation of B1 English, and a meeting within the European program 'Erasmus +', organized jointly with the 'Euroacción' Association will be held, Casa del Trigo in the hamlet of Los Prados.
