Within the program 'Summer Youth' of the Youth Council, the days 1, 2 and 3 August will be held the workshop "Prehistory in Caravaca", aimed at children aged between 7 and 15 years .
Each of the three days that make up this workshop will focus on a stage, 'Paleovida, the first settlers of Caravaca', explaining 'La Cueva Negra' and other Paleolithic sites, 'Societies Neolithic', with explanation and demonstrations lithic reduction and interpretation of Rock Art of the Northwest, and finally, 'daily work on the Metal Age', focused on deposits argáricos villages.
The workshop will be taught by the Society of Historiológicos Studies and Ethnographic Highlands of Argos, Quípar and Alhárabe, who has designed a varied program of recreational and educational activities with the aim of bringing children and young people to the rich historical and archaeological heritage the municipality.
Their monitors will accompany the guided visits with demonstrations fields such as looms weights and game threads, figures or idols of prehistoric mold plate, rock painting on stone, among many others.
