The Governing Council has given approval to an agreement between the Community and the City of Caravaca de la Cruz to the municipal organization of civil defense volunteers is part of the Logistics Group provided for in the Territorial Plan of Civil Protection of the Region Murcia (Platemur).
The Logistics Group is one of the groups of action plans Civil Protection and municipal organizations have volunteer civil protection.

In addition, the regional government has approved the award of a grant to the Consortium Firefighting and rescue the Community, amounting to 300,000 euros for the renewal of equipment and material needed for a better service fire.
