Jose Moreno has initiated a round of contacts to enhance the knowledge of the nomination of the 'Wine Horses' to Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
In early September he has also been invited to the party of the 'Mare de Deu de la Salut' held in the Valencian town of Algemesí, declared by UNESCO in 2011.
The Misteri d'Elx is a cultural treasure of the town of Elche and one of the most precious jewels of Valencian heritage, as evidenced by its declaration as a National Monument in 1931, and its inclusion in 2001 in the first Proclamation of Masterpieces Oral and Intangible heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
'La Festa', as this work of medieval origin is also known, is represented every year at the Basilica of Santa Maria de Elche in August, to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of the Assumption.
In the list of institutional invited to Assumptionist drama representations they have highlighted: Cardinal Carlos Amigo (Archbishop Emeritus of Sevilla);
Nuncio in Spain Pope Francisco, Monsignor Renzo Fratini;
President of Les Corts, Enric Morera;
the Regional Minister for the Environment, Elena Cebrián;
the Minister of Transparency, Manuel Alcaraz;
and the mayor of Caravaca de la Cruz, Jose Moreno Medina.
