The Department of Culture of the City of Caravaca de la Cruz, through the Municipal Public Library, held every week free reading promotion activities aimed at children.
Next Tuesday, September 6, the creative workshop 'Watch as read' and sessions 'Storyteller' will resume.
The 'Workshop Book' association is responsible for providing these activities, which aim to foster imagination and familiarize children with the characters, arguments and values ​​contained in the literature, employing a participatory and entertaining methodology.
The first session Tuesday, which takes place from 18:15 to 18:45 hours, is dedicated to 'Storyteller', for children aged between 4 and 8 years and open entrance to relatives.
The title of the selected story is repeated during every Tuesday of the same month, so that the activity reaches as many children as possible.
The sessions have a maximum quota of participation of 15 seats.
Goers 'Storyteller' can enjoy a dramatized narrative, sometimes accompanied by puppets, other illustrations and others by own imagination.
Then, from 19.00 to 20.00, the Library hosts the activity 'Watch as read', aimed at children aged 9 to 12 years.
The sessions of this creative workshop, four different blocks are divided, 'We played with our ears?'
(Activities related to the sense of hearing), 'Imagine ...' (body language), 'What can we do?'
(Speaking) and 'We play a little of everything' (activities related to creativity, emotion and expression. "
