The Minister of Education and Universities, Maria Isabel Sanchez-Mora, visited colleges and Primary Education Basilio Sáez and an extension of Grouped Rural Sierra de Mojantes located in Navares, Caravaca de la Cruz.
The Ministry of Education and Universities has set up for this school year 2016-2017, a new open in CEIP Basilio Sáez de Caravaca de la Cruz classroom.
In the new open classroom CEIP Basilio Sáez de Caravaca de la Cruz to six students with severe and permanent special educational needs and is schooled aged between 4 and 8 years.
The center has a total of 234 students and Primary Education.
The classroom teacher has a therapeutic pedagogy, teacher of hearing and language and an educational assistant coach.
Also, Team Educational Guidance and Counselling Northwest has increased day care center to advise on all matters related to the operation of the new open classroom.
This open classroom adds to the existing in the Northwest region in the municipality of Bullas, particularly in the CEIP Bishop Garcia Rodenas, and is part of the 93 distributed throughout the region.
Opting for rural schools
Sanchez-Mora minister, during his visit to an extension of the Rural School Grouped Sierra de Mojantes, impact on "the Ministry strongly committed to rural schools, making all necessary resources available to the remote population of urban centers".
This rural center of Caravaca de la Cruz serves 153 students, 38 and 115 Primary Children in three extensions: Archivel, Navares and Singla.
